For those of you not in the know, the rainbow-dyed "Crazy Vanilla" is the ice cream of choice among toddlers here. Notice I didn't use the word "flavor". After sitting with me for a few bites, Susannah headed off to join a group of three older girls sitting on a bench together as if they'd been friends for years.
