We took a trip out to the Whippany Train Museum on Sunday morning. It's the best deal in town--$1.50 for the two of us. You can't enter any of the trains, however, and rides are only available on alternate leap-year Tuesdays at 1:30PM. We did have some fun running up and down the outer stairwells of vintage commuter rail cars that are newer than the train I ride every morning. Also, the outdoor model trains were a big hit--especially the Halloween train that blew bubbles and the "tube train" that had a little fan that blew the leaves off the tracks.
