The NYC Scouts aren't bigots and they let girls in the troop. (Another reason I wish we'd never left for the mainland.) I wanted to tell them this was my dream in 1978 and how my grandmother would tell me stories about how I tucked my hair under my cap and infiltrated the ranks. Also, check out the adorable interns!
