Tomorrow night is the international potluck at school. Susannah has a whole bunch of, mostly lousy, cuisines to choose from. Too bad neither of us is Italian or Japanese. We choose Scottish short bread. Why? Everyone knows mixing with fingers is de riguer...and rugelach has way too many steps.
