We never left our little town today and we did so much. It was awesome to hang out with the other parents while our girls played the beautiful game. Similarly, it was fun to hang with Maya on purpose and Ms. Shelffo and many other like-minded friends by accident at Maker Fest. The kicker was a Havdalah service with pizza and a romp with pre-k alums. As I sipped beer with Monique in the sunny outdoor classroom we helped raise $$ for, I felt so satisfied that we have made a community here in our small corner of NJ.
