The pink team played the red team on another soccer Sunday. This one made glorious by Susannah's first goal of the season. To everyone's shame I leaped out of my folding chair screaming. Coach Roger added to his mensch of the year resume. (He's so dedicated to our girls, if we ever buy or sell a house in our town,we'll have no choice but to hire him as our realtor.) Brothers attended, both in their soccer uniforms and half naked. Mommies on the sidelines commiserated, as we all were feeling a bit jaded after a Saturday night in the city.
