On the way back from the funicular, we looked for a restaurant for dinner. Mark taught Susannah one of the fundamental truths of vacation dining—if the place is in the central tourist district, has a water view and sidewalk seating, the food sucks. We opted instead for a great restaurant in a nearby basement with "Norwegian tapas" and local microbrews.
