A great experience, if a little overwhelming. Sus was excited to see Bisa Butler, former CHS teacher, on the wall. I was moved by an experience this photo does not show well - standing deep in the basement on the floor that addresses slavery and looking up at words from the Declaration of Independence, as if from a deep pit. A visceral moment.
