This is our big up early, out along time hike. The goal is the glacial peak for Titlis Mountain, made accessible by gondola rides that we hike to. Intense but a great day with a few hair raising cliff-side parts. Strangely, the glacier (the first I've ever been on) was not a highlight. What from far away looked like snow was actually white canvas, protecting the snow. On gray strip was accessible to tourists, who could ride one long gondola up. Then, there were five floors of tourist trap. Enough to make you feel quite guilty about traveling. The cool glacial stream was much nicer. Also, the mechanism for bringing the milk down the mountain was interesting.
