The Mechsee Frutt mountain resort is not easy to access. You take a train to a bus to a gondola. Can you see the shadow of our little cable car on the graass below? We did all these things, to find a glacial basin at the top of a mountain with a lake, a pleasant hotel, free roaming cows, and a night of amazing stars.
