This neighborhood didn't exist when Mark lived nearby in 2001-20003 but NOMA has sprouted up between M Street (all new, 5 story apartment buildings) and Gallaudet and Union Market, a repurposed warehouse now food court. Super fun to explore even if the hipsterfication feels a bit icky. Our Air B&B is cute and has - barely - enough room. At Union Market Mark has a dhosa for dinner, I get a bahn mi, and Sus eats shepard's pie.
